Vanilla Bean Mascarpone Mousse

Add a dollop of this delicious mousse anytime you think whipped cream is called for and take your desserts to next level YUM!

This recipe has been a crowd pleaser from the first time it was served during my career doing upscale private events and it has never failed to WOW.  Super delicious, you don't even need to serve it ON something, but it basically goes with everything.

Vanilla Bean Mascarpone Mousse Recipe

Servings: Makes 12 oz

Ingredients

  • 8 oz heavy cream
  • 4 oz mascarpone
  • 1 T vanilla bean paste
  • 2 T sugar

Instructions

  • Place chilled cream into a chilled mixing bowl. Whip to medium peaks.
  • Add the vanilla bean paste and sugar while continuing to beat.
  • Add mascarpone and whip until stiff peaks form
  • Serve chilled.

Notes

Mousse will keep up to 6 days, refrigerated and covered.
